Mrs. Eddy declared that Christian Science is divine, not human. As such it cannot possibly be restricted to a human organization. She established the concept of church as a vehicle for demonstration, not profession. She recognized that a powerful, centralized organization would stifle inspiration, and therefore demonstration. Our church has been blessed to discover this through our experience (see our Church History).
