One might assume that, since they carry the name of Christian Science, they would be havens for young, budding Christian Scientists. That would be as dangerous as assuming that if a Christian Science practitioner is listed in the Journal, they must be okay! Mary Baker Eddy warns: “Better suffer a doctor infected with smallpox to attend you than to be treated mentally by one who does not obey the requirements of divine Science. “S&H TAKE NOTICE! No institution can certify obedience to the requirements of Science, any more than they can to the Sermon on the Mount!!! “Buyers beware!” Any association with the name Christian Science requires more discernment and alertness, not less! |
