Thank you for a wonderful Sunday service (5/13/12), including the reading of "Rheumatism Healed" in Fruitage from Science and Health. I have always loved the testimonies found there, as it is a testament to the availability and practicality of Christian Science to all mankind. Those who wrote the letters were all in very dire straits; they imbibed the truths in Science and Health, found the answer needed and their lives were transformed. Thank you for adding this new light of inspiration to the service, to shine out to the world.

This week's lesson, Probation After Death" talks about being in the "NOW". May years ago I made some cards with quotes from Mrs. Eddy and other CS workers. As I walked across my studio (I'm an artist) this morning the quote on the stand was by Amanda Colbath and I want to share it with you, "To realize the presence of God is to live in the eternal now. It takes care of the past and the future and brings harmony to one's present state of consciousness." How appropriate!

Thank you so much for the Wednesday evening meeting (4/11/12), and all it contained! There was so much love unfolded and expressed through the readings, the healing testimonies, and the hymns -- everything was so healing and heartfelt; when the congregation sang the 2nd and 3rd verses of hymn 105 a cappella, I was so moved I had tears in my eyes. What a place to be, where those who are there in house and out of town have such a great love for God, each other and mankind.

Christian Science, to me, is the most effective way of obeying the second commandment and blessing mankind. The "watches" from this Church is one of the special ways to achieve this blessing.Doing them is helping me think in an orderly manner and develop a more universal way of thinking.I am grateful for the thought discipline I am gaining from doing them.
